assembly instructions 1. Place chair figure 1 face down on the floor
2. Insert top part of piston figure 3 into mechanism figure 2
3. Insert lower part of piston figure 3 into base figure 4
4. Insert castors figure 5 into base figure 4
5. Elevate chair so it sits on castors

A. When seated on the chair the lever on the right under the seat base controls the height adjustment
B. When seated on the chair the lever on the left under the seat base controls the recline and synchronised tilting mechanism
C. The central knob located under the front centre of the seat adjusts the tension of the anti-shock backrest chair reclining mechanism
D. When seated on the chair the small lever on the left under the seat adjusts the seat base depth forward and backward
E. The knob on the right side of the backrest adjusts the schukra mechanism of this lumbar support office chair up & down
F. The knob on the left side of the backrest adjusts the schukra mechanism of this lumbar support office chair in & out

Armrest function for seating

A. the armrest pad will slide forward and backward (this will be stiff when the chair is new - for safety)
B. depress the button to raise or lower the armrest
C. the armrest pad will swivel in and out around a central axis
D. by adjusting the mechanical fixings the armrest can be adjusted for width
E. The knob on the right side of the backrest adjusts the schukra mechanism of this lumbar support office chair up & down
F. The knob on the left side of the backrest adjusts the schukra mechanism of this lumbar support office chair in & out

Avoid improper use of the chair
One person to sit on the chair
Do not sit on the edge of the chair or the armrests
Do not rock on the chair or lean back to bring the castors off the floor
Never stand on the swivel chair
Do not put or leave the chair near doorways, stairs, cables or undue heat
Do not use the chair for any purpose other than sitting for the prescribed use

Posture (particularly beneficial when using as a call centre chair or computer chair)

  • The sole of the foot to be flat on the floor
  • The foot is approximately 90° to the lower leg
  • The lower leg should be approximately vertical
  • The lower leg is approximately 90° to the thigh
  • The thigh is approximately horizontal
  • The thigh is approximately 90° to the trunk of the body
  • The trunk of the body should be approximately vertical to avoid a back problem
